Thames Valley Berkshire LEP Launches Major COVID-19 Recovery Business insights Survey to Measure Coronavirus Impact
With the UK lockdown from Covid-19 starting to ease, Thames Valley Berkshire LEP is leading on the development of a Berkshire Local Industrial Recovery Strategy. To inform the Recovery Strategy, the LEP wants to hear from as many Berkshire based businesses as possible about current and future impacts of the pandemic on their business and use these insights to inform future investment in Berkshire in skills, infrastructure and business support.
The LEP and its key partners want to ensure that the voice of all business is heard in order to help businesses to navigate and recover from these unprecedented times. Working closely with the six local authorities in the Berkshire area, the LEP is looking to provide a vision for economic recovery from the pandemic so the survey can inform future investment decisions.
Jacinta George, Managing Director, Reading Scientific Services Ltd (RSSL), and Business Environment Programme champion as Board Director at Thames Valley Berkshire LEP said, “These are extraordinary times in which businesses across the area are being presented with new challenges. We want to assist business owners in Berkshire to navigate and recover from these unprecedented times and inform future investment in Berkshire by the LEP in skills, infrastructure and business support. We urge any sized business, within any sector, to respond to our survey. It only takes around 10 minutes to complete.”
Businesses completing the survey can opt to receive a summary of the survey findings and subscribe to receive weekly Covid-19 updates and access to regular Economy briefings published on the LEP’s website.
