Forum & Board

The six Berkshire unitary authorities each nominate one representative to the Forum and appoint two directors to the Board; one on behalf of the Local Authority Leaders and the other on behalf of Local Authority Chief Executives.

The Private Sector and the Community Sector directors & representatives are appointed following an open application and interview process.

The Education Sector nominates its representatives from the five Further Education Colleges and the University of Reading.

The Business Organisations nominate their representatives after consideration by the Berkshire Branch of the Institute of Directors, the Thames Valley Region of the Federation of Small Businesses and the board of the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce. The CBI nominates an observer to the Forum.
